Denmark supplier of competitive offshore wind solutions
The report describes the primary offshore challenges and suggests priorities for research, development and demonstration (RD&D) to enable offshore wind power to become competitive with other energy technologies.
The strategy lists key recommendations as well as key thematic priorities.
The seven thematic priorities are:
- Planning and Site Selection
- Wind Farms
- Wind Turbines
- Foundations
- Electrical Infrastructure
- Assembly and Installation
- Operation and Maintenance
Each thematic priority contains significant potential to reduce Cost of Energy (CoE) over the next 10 years, whilst strengthening Danish competencies in the field.
