Industry Standard - Common Safety Signs for Wind Turbines
Standardized safety signs makes it easier for people working in wind turbines to recognize and understand the meaning of the safety signs in order to maximize safety.
Danish Standard (DS/S-494), Vestas Wind Systems and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy have identified safety signs typically used in wind turbines onshore and offshore, and proposed additional signs together with Ørsted and Maersk Drilling.
Wind turbine type specific pictograms and project-specific pictograms will be specified in turbine type-specific manuals.
